There is a party tomorrow, and I need to buy a good fruit basket. Is there any suggestion where I can find it at this time of year? Harrods seems a safe choice, although the price there is a bit too much.
Where can you buy good fruit?
Try the local grocery markets or the produce markets !!!

Reply:Fruit from Harrods? Have you gone bananas?
Reply:Marks and Spencers fruit is always great - Waitrose ditto.
Reply:A fruit shop.
Reply:fruit shop.. gift shop.. flower shop..any shop..
Reply:If you can get to the East End, you could try the New Spitalfields market near Leyton. They%26#039;re amenable to Joe Public popping in and it doesn%26#039;t get much fresher.
Reply:Covent Garden...but you have to be early...also Manor Farm and New Spitalfields...check to see which on is nearest. You can get their numbers off the web to check opening times.
Early start needed!

Reply:Most major supermarkets will be open tomorrow. I would go pick your own fruit. Go to one of those cheap shops and buy a disposable platter and put your own together. Cling film to keep it all in place and add some Christmas bows. Voila!
More fruit for less money, and they can see you put some effort into it too. Enjoy your party. :D
Reply:make your own. its so easy. just run the to the grocery store and pick up maybe 4 apples, 3 oranges, 1 pear, 2 bananas. get a basket or cheap plate and make the base with the bananas. inside the bananas put the 4 apples and then on top of those put 3 oranges and on top of that put the pear. then set the basket or plate on celephane paper and bring it up on the sides and tie with a twist and then ribbon. real cheap but looks like it cost 50 bucks.
Reply:Theres a guy that sells amazing, cheap fruit of all varities outside Goodge Street station.
